IDA THIRD THURSDAY WEBINAR SERIES

The International Detailing Association hosts a series of webinar presentations covering a variety of topics to help improve the knowledge and ability of IDA Members and Non-Members from the comfort of a home or office computer!  The webinars take place on the third Thursday of the month from February to November.

IDA November Webinar: Basic Financials 101

Speaker: Tom Shay, Profits Plus Solutions

Bio: Tom Shay is a fourth generation small business owner.  He has written 14 books including a college textbook on small business accounting and business planning.

Description: Just as you work to have a strong working knowledge of the product you use and the services you provide, you should do the same about the financial information of your business.  This webinar will get you started in understanding how the financial statements are telling you where your business is headed.

Objective: Share the key components of understanding the profit and loss statement and the balance sheet.

Certified Detailers - Attending a webinar earns Certified Detailers 1 credit towards re-certification.  Certified Detailers must check-in to the live webinar to receive credit, and are solely responsible for verifying that the earned credit appears in their Online Certification Journal following the event.  Check-in will be available on the day of the webinar.

Technology - Attendance will require an internet connection and ability to connect to GoToMeeting.  Test your computer here.  The webinar connection information will be released one week before the event.

Cancellation Policy - There is limited space available for each webinar.  If you register but find that you are no longer able to attend the live webinar, please cancel your registration to free up space for others.  Members can always access the webinar recording from the Member Resources area.  Please note: no refunds or cancellations within 48 hours of the event.

Price - Free for members and $25 for non-members.  Non-members who join within 30 days of the webinar may apply the registration fee to membership dues* (join the IDA here).
