The International Detailing Association hosts a series of webinar presentations covering a variety of topics to help improve the knowledge and ability of IDA Members and Non-Members from the comfort of a home or office computer! Kaan Aya, CD-SV, is the owner of ReVive the Art of Auto Care.  Prior to joining the detailing community, Kaan owned and operated a private training studio in the northwest suburbs of Chicago.  He worked with a wide range of clients to promote living a healthy and active lifestyle, advice which he himself follows on a daily basis.  Kaan’s philosophy: “If anyone ever asked me what the fountain of youth is I would point them towards their local gym.  If you want to stay young stay fit.”

Description - 
Your core muscles are the most important muscle group in your body. Occupying areas in your lower back, hips, glutes, trunk, and stomach, core muscles are vital to many common movements, such as lifting, twisting, reaching, and bending. Normal, everyday life requires almost constant use of the core muscles. Being a detailer requires even more energy and strength from your core than most other professions out there, having a strong core is a critical component to ensuring a healthy pain-free life.

Objectives - 

  1. Understand of the important role your core plays in everyday life. 
  2. Learn easy, quick exercises and stretching techniques to help improve their core strength and even levitate pain from their body especially in the lower back area.

Certified Detailers - Attending a webinar earns Certified Detailers 1 credit towards recertification.

Technology - Attendance will require an internet connection and ability to connect to GoTo Meeting. Test your computer at  The webinar connection information will be released one week before the event.

Cancellation Policy - There is limited space available for each webinar. If you register but find that you are no longer able to attend the live webinar, please cancel your registraion to free up space for others. Members can always access the webinar recording from the Member Resources page. Please note: no refunds or cancellations within 48 hours of the event. 

Price - Free for members and $25 for non-members. Non-members who join within 30 days of the webinar may apply the registration fee to membership dues* (join the IDA here).
